Marie Skoczylas is the Development Director at the Thomas Merton Center. She is a graduate of John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio and a former Americorps volunteer, having served in Chicago at a transitional shelter for homeless Latinas and their children. She is currently a student at Pittsburgh Filmmakers and the Center for the Arts, a member of Solidarity and a local collective and she writes for the local Independent Media Center.
