On February 24, 2016, one hundred and forty-two (142) days after I played an important role in causing British Petroleum to be fined $20.8 billion dollars, the funeral for my father, Reverend Dr. Dallas B. Shaffer, was desecrated in the Episcopal Church where he was a Priest.

A letter insulting my family and attempting to extort $240,000 from me was delivered to me at the beginning of the funeral for my father.  The letter was sent by Dr. Nancy Joyce Shaffer (she has a PhD in Religious Studies) and her attorney at that time John Adamczyk.

My father did not accept money for his services.  He was a hospital chaplain.

On the back wall of Emmanuel Episcopal in Keyser, WV, is a mural with paintings of the members of the Church who have gone to heaven.  The mural is there to remind parishioners, as they leave after a service, that their loved ones are in heaven.
