While working with Distinguished Professor of Bioengineering Dr. Harvey Borovetz in my Particle Flow Research Lab , I invented and patented  an imaging technology to see and measure the flow of blood cells inside artificial hearts and lungs: US Patent 5,333,044 . The technology of Patent 5,333,044 has now saved thousands of lives.

Distinguished Professor
Dr. Harvey Borovetz

In 2003, Professor Borovetz founded the University of Pittsburgh Deptartment of Bioengineering.   He was its first Chair from 2003 to 2013. He is the Robert L. Hardesty Professor of Surgery; Professor of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering; Deputy Director of Artificial Organs and Medical Devices, McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine.   On May 9, 2024, the American Society of Artificial Internal Organs honored Dr. Borovetz with the Vishnu Ingle Lifetime Achievement Award for Contributions to the Development of Artificial Organs Technologies.

About my work on the world’s first micro-turbine heart pump with the great rocket engineer Kenneth Clark Butler.  Ken was on the team that developed the main engine for the Saturn V rocket that sent the first three astronauts to the moon: Neil Armstrong, Micheal Collins and Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin .

About my work on artificial lungs with Lieutenant Colonel Brack Hattler, MD, PhD. He was a battlefield surgeon in Vietnam, Chief of US Army Organ Transplant Service at Walter Reed Medical Center, and a Heart and Lung Transplant Surgeon .

About my work with Commando Squad Leader UC Berkeley Professor Dr. Ömer Savaş and Dr. Eric “Aquaman” Ibarra on deep sea oil leaks.We worked alongside Turkish military officers at the UC Berkeley Tow Tank. They were developing a technology to reduce drag by injecting micro-bubbles into the boundary layer of torpedoes.

After I was attacked b y NETL Chief Counsel Susan E. Malie and forced to flee federal service on July 9, 2018, and after Magistrate Ronald Arnoni had a SWAT team raid my home on January 18, 2019, I fled into Amish country Ohio to escape and try to hide.   The only people who helped me were from the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh and in Kadima, Israel.

About applying the technology of my US Patents, 5,333,044 and 8,391,552, to improve the performance of high-speed centrifuges with an engineer from Tehran, Dr. Mehrdad Shahnam. His father was a General under the Shah of Iran.

On my friendship with Béla Karlovitz, inventor of MHD (Magneto Hydro Dynamics).   Béla was born in Hungary in 1904.   He was 90 years old when I met him in Pittsburgh.   Dr. Benjamin Breen, inventor of NOx pollution controls, introduced me to Béla.   Béla told me he pitched MHD to the NAZI Vice President of Siemens in 1938.   The NAZI VP told him they had no funds for R&D because they were preparing for war.   So Béla moved to Pittsburgh and taught engineers at Westinghouse how to generate electricity with MHD.
